For easy mounting of your WindSonic sensor, use our anodised aluminium alloy mounting mast.

The mounting mast is 895mm high and is drilled and tapped at one end to suit the fastenings on a WindSonic sensor.

The base end has one hole suitable for attaching an earth strap or for securing the WindSonic cable with a cable tie.

This mast is ideal for clamping to a pole or other structure to raise the anemometer clear of obstructions that would interfere with the wind flow. Met office wind measurements are generally taken at 10m above ground level.

The mast is also suitable for mounting a MetPak II weather station. The sensor is clamped via a single u-bolt to the mast.
